New Webstore

My new webstore. HOW COOL IS THIS? I love my new store. I'm excited for all it entails. I can sell EVERYTHING I have (which is a lot of stuff) and in a very simplified way. It's also soon being featured on the website for LimitedPressing.com because they loved it so much.

There is a snapshot of how it kinda looks- but you do need to go see the real thing. Which you can do here- NEW EMME PACKER STORE. From there you can navigate through my discography, listen to music, view pictures and view all my items for sale. Yum.

Wooden Blocks of Art

The awesome thing about having a dad with a woodworkers shop- is that I get to make art with wood. So that's what I'm starting to do now. I've just completed my first one called "Colours". It's the size of 3 regular polaroids. They have a groove cut in the back for hanging. I think these ones I want to keep together, so they will be sold as a set. I don't even know how much they should be- you tell me? They look like polaroids, but they are wood! I will also be making large scale polaroids of wood like this. I'm going to try and come up with some ideas as to what kind of subject to paint on them. And I'll do custom ones too if you so want. The next project 13" wooden polaroids!

The Hipstamatic Show

This photo is in a photo contest called "The Hipstamatic Show". I currently fell from 1st place to 2nd place and have 1 day left to accumulate as many votes as possible. The votes are accumulated through twitter. If you don't have a twitter- create 1 or 2 or 10 twitters and vote for my picture! (it doesn't take long to do so.)

MOOD Mixes and Free Cd's

THIS IS A TWO PART BLOG

PART 1-
I've always enjoyed sharing every type of music with people & creating mix cd's for others. As to broaden their library of music, and promote the bands I love. I even have a song called "Mix CD", as most of you know, which is written mostly about relating to the music on a mix cd, and letting it take my mind somewhere else. Well the other day I was driving and it hit me "Mood Mixes... ahh yeah". The idea is this: I create mix cd's that are revolved around a certain emotion. And let people pick which emotion they would enjoy most in a mix. 

All you have to do is-

• 1. Pick the Mood Mix you want from the list
  

• 2. Mail me ANYTHING in return. It can be a homemade gift, an art project, something from your childhood, a letter, a donation to the starving artist fund.... anything. Just get creative. And please no deadly chemicals or inappropriate items, thank you!

Make sure that you have stated which mood you want in your package, and a return address for me to send  you your mix cd. I will have the complete information of which songs and bands are on the cd. If you want more than one mix, you have to send more than one package. Those are the rules! This should be fun! I will be doing this list for a month. PART 2-
The other idea I have stemmed from when I was cleaning my room and realized I have about 30 boxes of cd's taking up precious space. Ha ha. I have such a small amount of my first 2 albums left, but I want to get rid of them. I'm not selling them in stores like the newer albums and once they are gone, they are only going to be on iTunes. So for the next 2-4 weeks (depending on how fast they go) I will be giving away free CD's of my first 2 albums. "Dirty Street" 2003 and "Better Luck Next Time" 2005. All you have to do is pay for shipping and handling. $4 for one album and $6 for both. (message for international shipping) That's dirt cheap.

Those that have these albums already know that they don't sound like my new albums. I started young and later grew into my production style and genre of music. But it's a bit of history for you. Here are the methods of payment.

SLUG magazine and City Weekly
